Tank Farm Rehabilitation

POSSEHL Spezialbau is a specialized company supervised by TÜV according to § 19 l WHG. We coat waterproof basins and areas, according to WHG § 19 h, that catch water-polluting fluids. The rehabilitation is carried out with proven Coating Systems on asphalt and concrete sub strata.
The Special Coating POSSEHL 200 TR® is a fuel-resistant thick coating for an economic sealing and protection of asphalt catch basins in oil product deposits.

Fields of application are: among others, tank farm coatings, new construction and reconditioning.

First, depending on the structure condition, the existing asphalt concrete layer is thoroughly reconditioned before the POSSEHL Spezialbeschichtung (Special Coating) 200 TR® is applied. This way a fuel-resistant protective coating, lasting 200 hours, is obtained, which protects from weather and environmental factors, greatly slows the aging process of the asphalt and offers an effective protection against fuel in case of leakages. The POSSEHL Special Coating 200 TR®, used also in airport tank deposits, has been proven to lengthen the lifespan of old and new tank cups.
