Surface protection systems are used to increase the durability of concrete and reinforced concrete elements and in extensive reconditioning works, for example as preventive or subsequent protection against aggressive concrete damaging materials, to ease cleaning, as seal against fluids or environmental effects (e.g. CO2), to increase wear-and-tear resistance, for color creation, for waterproofing against humidity and thawing salt solutions.
