Diamond Grinding

Uneven concrete road traffic surfaces and airfield pavements have a negative impact on the driving and rolling comfort. Grinding can remedy this problem by achieving inch-exact adjustments of pavements (evenness grinding). Special diamond-equipped machines (Bumpcutter) are employed to restore evenness. Concrete grinding on highways, for example, may be the preparatory step for the application of POSSEHL EP-GRIP, a high-quality surface treatment based on epoxy resin binder in order to reduce traffic noise and improve the evenness of the surface.

Fields of application are highways, airports, municipal streets, rural roads, parking areas, sidewalks, industrial floors and other surfaces constructed of cement concrete or asphalt concrete.
