Stone Pavement Jointing

Natural stone paving is decorative; however, insufficient jointing of the pavement surface may easily cause pedestrian accidents. Grinding


Diamond Grinding

Uneven concrete road traffic surfaces and airfield pavements have a negative impact on the driving and rolling comfort. Grinding can remedy this problem by achieving inch-exact adjustments of pavements (evenness grinding). Special diamond-equipped machines (Bumpcutter) are employed to restore evenness.

The grooving process originates in the U.S. Special diamond-equipped machines (Bumpcutter) are used to cut small parallel grooves in concrete or asphalt pavements to improve drainage capability and contact adhesion between tires and surface, thus preventing aquaplaning.
