We promote environmental awareness
We take responsibility
Climate and environmental protection are no longer foreign words in the construction industry. Responsible, future-oriented construction is one of our cornerstones. Here, as POSSEHL Spezialbau, we can actively and passively help shape the climate-friendly future.
ACTIVE
Our building materials are carefully selected. A large network of suppliers helps us in this. Our epoxy resins and coatings are developed by our subsidiary cds Polymere and contain a proportion of renewable raw materials. Through innovation and research, we are constantly trying to increase this proportion.
Digitalization and technical progress will also accompany us on our way to climate neutrality. Emission-free vehicles, green electricity from our own plants, innovative building materials and pioneering machine technology are essential for sustainable construction.
PASSIVE
Through our construction services, we achieve many passive effects on the topic of environmental protection and sustainability. With our product EP-GRIP VELO for cycle path construction, we offer the most climate-friendly system for the mobility turnaround.
By applying a light coating of EP-GRIP URBAN to dark surfaces in parks and park areas, we effectively increase the albedo effect and ensure cooler city centers. This reduces electricity consumption by air conditioning systems in urban locations. Both services can also be supplemented with the innovative GRANUVIT LR scattering material, in which recycled glass replaces some of the natural stone. Many of our construction services also ensure that traffic, aviation and industrial surfaces last much longer.
Asphalt and concrete do not have to be replaced until much later, and the carbon footprint is significantly reduced. But we also want to make the mobility turnaround possible for our employees. By participating in the JobRad program, every employee has the opportunity to obtain a modern e-bike at very favorable conditions. This means that the car can be left in the garage more often. Sustainability does not stop at the construction industry.
We are part of it and are actively and passively involved in shaping it. For the future!
