Safety around daycare and playground
Where children play and run around, safety and slip resistance are essential – ideally combined with a pleasant appearance. That’s exactly what we achieved in Bodenheim: In Dollespark, EP-GRIP URBAN delivers a bright and friendly look while ensuring maximum safety around the daycare center and playground.
Child-safe, weather-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing
As part of the park’s redesign, we were entrusted with modernizing a total of 250 square meters. Together with the local municipality, we chose EP-GRIP URBAN – a surface coating that stands out for its fine-grained texture, making it particularly slip-resistant. Even in rain, snow, or icy conditions, the surface maintains its grip. We deliberately avoided a coarse texture to minimize the risk of injury in case of falls. This way, nothing gets in the way of energetic Bobby car races or lively games of tag.
At the same time, the coating impresses visually. The goal was to adapt the surfaces to the existing surroundings, creating a harmonious overall concept. Once again, EP-GRIP URBAN proves its value with high functionality, a modern look, and a child-friendly design – perfectly suited for public spaces with high standards for both aesthetics and safety.
