Right-turn lanes often pose a risk, especially when they double as bus lanes. Drivers frequently overlook the markings, cyclists squeeze between vehicles, and the situation quickly becomes unclear and unsafe.
To eliminate such danger zones, the town of Wildberg decided to redesign a combined bus and turning lane using EP-GRIP URBAN.
EP-GRIP URBAN for enhanced safety
Our team resurfaced approximately 1,800 m². The solution used: EP-GRIP URBAN in combination with Röhrig granite with a grain size of 1.0 – 2.0 mm.
The original POSSEHL surface ensures significantly improved visibility and safety at the intersection – thanks to the vibrant red color and the brightening effect of the coating.
At the same time, the textured surface noticeably changes the driving feel, drawing drivers’ attention to this sensitive area.
Thanks to its high skid resistance, braking distances are reduced, the risk of aquaplaning decreases, and there is less spray in wet conditions.
